My People International, initiated in response to the need for a more effective paradigm of ministry within the North American Indigenous community has, over the years, focused its efforts in community-based ministry, healing programs, workshop delivery, and Indigenous ministry support through training and resource development in North America.
In 2014, My People International formally amalgamated with iEmergence and NAIITS: An Indigenous Learning Community, together becoming Indigenous Pathways. It’s name change to simply My People, at that time, reflected the transition to the wider mission represented in Indigenous Pathways.
The vision that launched My People, enhanced in its merger into Indigenous Pathways, eventually found some of its programs carried into other Indigenous contexts around the globe where they became better known through the work of iEmergence and NAIITS: An Indigenous Learning Community. In an effort to maintain My People’s programs in international Indigenous contexts without added administrative cost and energy; and, in order to continue to nurture its original vision, My People has now become fully integrated with the other members of Indigenous Pathways.
